Black Lodge welcomes HYSTERICA to the rooster, new album “The Art Of Metal” scheduled for release on March 9!

With their second album “The Art Of Metal”, Hysterica takes a huge leap forward. They’ve developed tremendously since the debut, “Metalwar”, released in 2009. Hysterica is all about classic melodic doom and power metal, with keyboard, extreme vocals and grandiose choirs being added to the mix on this album. The album was produced by Pontus Norgren (Hammerfall), and Marcus Jidell (Evergrey). Anni De Vil has developed into a full fledged diverse vocalist, performing both melodic parts and growl.

Hysterica wanted to broaden their horizon with this release – they wanted to mix music with other art outputs. They came up with the idea of letting seven different artists interpret one song each, with the song being turned into an art object. Work has been done by a metal sculpturer, a horror cartoonist, a photographer, a writer, an oil painter and a tattoo artist. The artists were given carte blanche to do what they wanted. During 2011, 4 digital singles have been released, and with the release the art work has been presented.

Hysterica has toured Sweden, Europe andRussiaplaying both clubs and big festivals like Sweden Rock Festival and Hardrock Hell (UK). Hysterica has developed on all horizons since the release of the debut album, and with Black Lodge – Sweden’s biggest metal label – everything is there to make them as big as for example Sabaton and Bullet. “The Art Of Metal” is a real killer, and is guaranteed to receive a lot of attention worldwide!

The new album “Choice Of Weapon” – The Cult’s first studio album in 5 years – will be released on Black Lodge Records for Scandinavia on May 18.

“Choice of Weapon” is the follow up to the critically-acclaimed 2007 release Born Into This that the UK’s Mojo magazine called  “a wholehearted, utopian and irrefutably exciting record.”  Long-time Cult collaborator and producer Bob Rock (Metallica, Bush), who produced one of The Cult’s most successful albums, the Platinum-certified Sonic Temple, put the finishing touches on the foundations that were laid by co-producer Chris Goss (Queens of the Stone Age, U.N.K.L.E., Masters of Reality).

The album will be released as a standard CD, a deluxe version with bonus CD, and as double vinyl LP.

BULLET – ”Highway Pirates”

Straight to position 3 in the Swedish sales chart!

On February 4th Bullet released their new album ”Highway Pirates”. The album has been recieved to nothing but praise in the media, and this week the record buyers also showed their appreciation for Swedens most successful heavy metal act.

On February 5th a huge releaseparty was held in their hometown Växjö. The party was totally sold out with almost 1000 people attending, and the band delivered a classic rock show, finishing off with singer Hell Hofer sawing off the arm of a guy playing keyboards. In true Bullet spirit, specially made Bullet beer and hot dogs were served.

The overwhelming response from the media, the killer chart position, and the atmosphere on the release party held on the countryside to a countryside audience all makes it clear that Bullet has become kind of an institute – there’s something in Bullet’s music for everyone. At the moment there seems to be nothing stopping Bullet from becoming number one in the heavy metal scene. Album of the month award and Jury winner in Sweden Rock Magazine, album of the month award and Richterskala winner in Germany’s Rock Hard all point to one thing – Bullet is now getting the pay off from all the hard work they’ve put into creating music over the years.

The band is currently on a Scandinavian tour, where they aim to show also who’s number one on stage. In April they head off on a 20 date European tour with shows in Germany, Holland, England, Poland, Austria, Switzerland and Belgium (tour dates below).

“Highway Pirates” is Bullet’s third album, and the follow-up to “Heading For The Top” (2006) and “Bite The Bullet” (2008). The album is mixed by Tobias Lindell, who has worked with bands like Europe, Mustasch and Hardcore Superstar.

Bullet hit it big in 2008 with the album “Bite The Bullet” which climbed to position 3 in the Swedish charts which led to Bullet being one of the most booked bands in Sweden the following year. The success culminated when they made an acclaimed performance as support act to AC/DC at a sold out Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The ep, containing two tracks from their latest album ”Something´s dripping” also sees BONAFIDE cover three classic songs from Humble Pie, The Who and Rose Tattoo. Two videos, and one previously unreleased track are also included.

BONAFIDE, currently on tour in Norway, will embark on a five week European tour, starting in Bonn, Germany on February 22.

The new album has already received smashing reviews in the media – with album of the month award and highest position on the “Richterskala” section in Germany’s Rock Hard, album of the month award and highest position in the “Soundcheck” section in Sweden Rock Magazine to name a few.

Shortly before the release of the album, the band will start touring extensively in Scandinavia with dates from late January until early April. The day after the release of the album the band will hold a huge classic old style release party in their hometown Växjö.
